Standard deviation is the square root of variance and is implemented without loops. Statistical calculations in the custom Vector class should avoid Python loops and delegate to NumPy functions. Squaring deviations both removes negative signs and makes variance more sensitive to outliers. Variance is computed by subtracting the mean element-wise, squaring deviations, and taking their mean without explicit loops.
